The business unit is set up to deliver against the objectives of UCAS charity and operate UCAS Media (UCAS’s commercial subsidiary) to help fund UCAS’s charitable operations. For the charity, our objective is to provide everyone with the information, advice and guidance they need to make informed decisions on their next steps. We deliver on this via our media ecosystem which consists of information, advice and guidance on ucas.com, our social media feeds across various channels, email, live events and webinars.
For UCAS Media, our business objective is to generate revenue through paid collaborations with higher education providers who wish to improve their position in the market, and commercial brands who want to reach students. All brands wishing to use our media ecosystem and insight services must align with our framework. All profits generated are gift aided to UCAS the charity and in turn fund the charitable objectives, such as our recent announcement that students in receipt of free school meals will no longer need to pay the UCAS application fee.

About the role
The Account Executive will onboard new customers to UCAS and be responsible for the prospecting activity and lead generation to create a steady source of SQL’s for the Key Account Managers and CSD to convert into scalable Revenue opportunities, within an assigned segment. With support from relevant stakeholders across UCAS, the Account Executive will work closely with the Key Account Managers on collateral, presentations, reporting and ultimately prospecting new customers. The AE will also help maintain existing relationships to deliver high quality results for their portfolio of smaller clients they service.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract
Key accountabilities:
· Assisting the Key Account Managers to deliver revenue target through effective generation and prospecting of MQL’s and prospecting these to create warm SQL’s.
· Deliver against own Revenue target amongst low-mid tier client prospects (less than £10k spend per Month).
· Identifying additional media opportunities with existing Clients, within a defined customer portfolio or sector and look for new client opportunities.
· Will work across internal departments including Ad Operations, Events, Insight, Marketing, Insight, Digital Media to ensure that all activity is achieving objectives that is pre -defined with your customers.
· Prospecting Brands and Employers and arranging introductory calls for the Key Account Managers

Skills, qualifications, and experience
· Demonstrable experience in working within a relationship, campaign management, Lead generation, or sales environment.
· Proven ability to embrace and adapt to change in a fast-moving environment.
· Strong skillset in the various marketing, media, and digital practices, with a desire to continuously learn and develop these skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability of influencing a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
· Demonstrable experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
· Proven experience in customer service and/or Sales engagement with a passion for achieving the best possible results for customers.
