Our Finance and Corporate Services business unit is a fusion of multiple functions — financial planning and accounting, facilities and building management, procurement, corporate governance and performance, legal and compliance. The Finance Team also defines UCAS' financial strategy.
To provide transactional and administrative support to the Financial Accounting Team for both UCAS and UCAS Media Ltd, ensuring that accounts processing runs effectively and to the required timescale.
Key accountabilities:
- Proactively analyse outstanding debt, continually monitoring the aged debt reports to ensure month end cash collection targets are achieved.
- Timely dealing with customer queries, including price discrepancies, PO requests, payment processing andcopy invoices.
- Working collaboratively with internal colleagues to deal with queries arising due to organisation of ourevents held.
- Onboarding of new customer including credit checks, due diligence and setting up on finance system.
- Timely processing and reconciliation of all accounting documentation, including sales invoices/creditnotes.
- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts for both UCAS and UCAS Media, including posting of allreceipts and payments. This will include the extraction of statements from the on-line banking system, analysis and resolving of any queries.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all stakeholders both internal and external.
- Assist with general administration duties within the team.
Part time - 21 hours per week.
Salary - up to £26,500 (FTE)
